Pretty innovative car, polyester body, 3 seats across the front mid-engine. They even worked on a 'U' engine configuration with 2 four cylinder engines side by side sharing a common pan, the driveshafts connected by a chain!? It never made it past prototype stage unfortunately. And it's right around the corner from me...I wonder what the missus would say, maybe I could hide it behind the shed...

Man that it a gorgeous Bagheera!

I've always loved the lines of the Bagheera compared to the Murena.

I've heard that their performance lags behind the sporty exterior.

What sort of engine swaps have been made by Bagheera enthusiasts?
(I'm guessing a Peugeot N9TE would be a good option...)

Any other pictures?

I have a few pictures of various bags They aren't anywhere near as popular as teh Murena and like many cars it can look greatly different depending on the stance and the tire / wheel choice alone. I'll attach a few more.

I heard the same thing about the performance. I imagine it's likely true.. but it's impossible to tell on the internet.. just as much disinformation as information.

I'd imagine one of the easiest / cheapest swaps would be an MR2 since it's transverse mid engine. (I think bags are transverse, know they are mid engine).

If I had a masisve barn and that one in Rhode Island was closer, I'd park it in there.. but I don't and it's not.

The S model had 1442 cc and 90 HP so it was slower than a Toyota Echo by a long way, but also WAY cooler.
