Hello! I have a Citroen ZX /1.4mi, 1992, motor - KDY/ with an engine problem. Question - can I replace a KDY engine with a KDX / from a peugeot 306. Are they interchangeable
 
We never got the Zx in Australia so not a lot of knowledge here.
 
They are both TU3 engines, apparently the same compression, possibly a slightly different tune and different injection gear. You'd have to check the bare engines to see if they have the same collection of bolt points and mountings.

I thought all Aus delivered 306's were XU? Maybe some 206 are TU?
 
OP is probably not in AU. The posting IP address points to Bulgaria ... could be a VPN of course.
